Until someone else steps forward, it appears The Storm Testament series author Lee Nelson is the only man in modern times to kill a bull buffalo from the back of a galloping horse with a bow and arrow. No, Lee is not a lunatic bent on suicide. He is a best-selling author intent on gathering authentic research. Digging through dusty journals, starting fires without matches, and even chewing on raw buffalo is part of Nelson's research in writing historical/adventure/romance novels unparalleled in authenticity and originality.
Lee was born high in the Rocky Mountains in Logan, Utah, later graduating from high school in California. After studying at the University of California at Berkeley, he served a mission for the LDS Church in southern Germany. Lee has a bachelor's degree in English literature and an MBA, both from Brigham Young University.
Lee Nelson has more than thirty published books, including ten historical novels in The Storm Testament series.
